Paheadra Robinson, Consumer Protection Director MS Center for Justice

Ms. Paheadra Robinson, Consumer Protection Director, MS Center for Justice, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its November 5, 2013 meeting concerning predatory ending. Her main focus was on the high interest rates on predatory loans such as Pay Day loans and car title loans. Those loans typically carry interest rates of 521% annually. Her role is to get consumers to avoid such loans and to educate them on alternative sources of financing that are available. Ms. Robinson is shown below during her presentation.
