David Pursell, Owner U.S. Lawns Speaks to Rotary Club of North Jackson

David Pursell, owner of the US Lawns Franchise in Jackson, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its September 16 meeting. The subject of Mr. Pursell's talk was selecting employees. He discussed the test that he uses to assess potential employees and their fitness for the work that he expects them to do. He said that anyone who manages a business, either of their own or for someone else, generally has employees in that business and that those employees dictate that leader's success. Mr. Pursell gave the example of an assessment that his friend and North Jackson member, Nathan McLarty completed. He discussed how the assessment that Nathan completed described him as a perfect match Nathan's profession. We thank Mr. Pursell for his presentation. He is shown below during his talk.
