William G. "Bill" Cheney, Jr., Assistant Mississippi Secretary of State Public Lands Division, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its September 12, 2023, meeting. Cheney informed club members about the different types of land classifications in Mississippi supervised by the Public Lands Division. Those types of lands are 16th-section lands, Tidelands, Tax forfeited lands, and state agency lands.
