Jimmy Henderson, a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association, Mississippi Chapter, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its July 14, 2026, meeting. Henderson informed club members of the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's. Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common cause of dementia. In Mississippi, over 62,500 individuals are living with Alzheimer's disease, and approximately 93,000 caregivers provide around 175 million hours of unpaid care annually.
