Members of the Rotary Club of North Jackson distributed dictionaries to third-grade students in 6 north Jackson elementary schools the week of October 22nd: Boyd, Casey, Dawson, McWillie, McLeod, and Spann. This is an annual project for the club as it has been for at least 11 years. The Rotarians emphasize that the dictionaries belong to the students, that they should put their name on the faceplate at the front of the book, they demonstrate how to use a dictionary and what information it contains in addition to words and their definitions. The following photos are from the event.
