Eternal God, whose existence we acknowledge, whose continued blessings we seek and on who we depend in faith, we invoke your blessings upon us in this gathering today. We have come from a variety of places and tasks, to share in fellowship and in renewal of our commitment to the Rotarian ideals and standards to which we have pledged ourselves and substance. Accept now our gratitude for food, for table fellowship, and for all blessings from your beneficent hand. Amen.
Readers Needed
Our club members read to the 60 pre-K students at Walton Elementary School on Friday's at 11:30. It takes no more than 30 minutes to read several books to them. You can supply your own book or use one of the classroom's. If you would like to volunteer for this project, please see or contact Bill Osborne. You will not be disappointed but rewarded by the love of the students.
August 18th Meeting
Susan Garrard, President & CEO of the Miss. Children's Museum; Chair of the Great City Miss. Foundation and Board Member of the LeFleur's Bluff Conservancy, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its August 18, 2026, meeting. Garrard informed club members and guest about the expansion plans for the Children's Museum and about the LeFleur Museum District's announcement of a bridge across Lakeland Drive that will connect all of the museums together along with a walking and biking trail.
