We thank you for physical food, and social fellowship here today. May some good ensure from this experience, for ourselves and others. Amen
Last Week's Meeting
Members of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders visited the Rotary Club of Jackson during its July 11, 2023, meeting. The 25 young African Leaders introduced themselves and joined club members in networking and fellowship. This program is the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). YALI was created in 2010 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020. Established in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has brought over 5000 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa to the United States for academic and leadership training. The Fellows, between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their communities and countries. Shown with the Mandela Washington Fellowship leaders are (back row center) Club President Matt Monsour and Club Vice President Lori Greer.
