O God, whose creative power is evident all around us in these early summer days, we are grateful for the resources available to us for enriched living and productive working. As stewards of the things that bring joy and meaning to life help us to use them for the good of others and for your glory. Bless now our gathering in this place, that out influence for good will be felt in this small corner of the world. Update on Don
This is from Don on his recovery. "I’m doing “better than expected” based on my last Doctor’s visit. I am blessed to report I’m over 25 days since I’ve had any bleeding from my small intestine. I’m still dealing with a lack of stamina after losing 18 pounds and getting no exercise for more than a month." Please continue to pray for Don as he returns to "normal".
Club Assembly
Mark your calendars for July 7, 2026, for our Annual Club Assembly @ St. Andrews Episcopal Church. It is a time for fellowship and a wonderful meal of beef tenderloin and sides prepared by the famous Holly Smokers cooking team from St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Our new Club President Suzy Tubb will also present her new board. The assembly will start at 6p.m. with fellowship and end with the meal around 8p.m. There will be a charge (TBD) to members who attend. There is a sign-up sheet on the check in table.
June 9th Meeting
Daniel Jasper, Millsaps College Provost, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its June 9, 2026, meeting. Jasper spoke about the transforming of a liberal arts education.
