O God of all creation, designer of the natural order in which the phenomenon of growth gives beauty and excitement, we are grateful that in the sphere of human affairs and organized structures, growth is also desirable and anticipated experience. Having entered this month of August with special emphasis on membership growth, we are aware that where growth does not prevail, there is lack of vibrant health. Accept our thanks for the food and friendship we enjoy today, and for opportunities to serve awaiting us beyond this meeting. Amen.

Rotary Zone Institute
You may not get a chance to attend a Rotary Zone Institute this close to Jackson again. The Rotary Zone 30 & 31 Institute will be held in New Orleans Aug. 27th-30th. There is a one day special to hear inspiring speakers, discover new ideas, build lasting friendships, and be part of the best Rotary event of the year.

Christina Dent, Founder and VP of Misson for End it For Good, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its July 28, 2026. End It For Good strives to help children, families, and communities by shifting away from a criminal justice approach to drugs and addiction and towards health-centered approaches that prioritize life and the opportunity to thrive. Dent talked about two psychedelics, Ibogaine and Psilocybin that are being used to treat addictions and other disorders.
