This Week's Speaker
Ken Kercheval, Scout Executive and CEO of the Andrew Jackson Council of the Scouts/BSA, will be our guest speaker for the June 13, 2023, meeting. Kercheval joined as leader of the Andrew Jackson Council in February of this year after service as Scout Executive with the Choctaw Council in Meridian for 15 years. He has 31 years of Scouting leadership experience.
Club Assembly
Our club's annual Club Assembly will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at St. Andrews Cathedral in downtown Jackson. The assembly will start at 5:30p.m. with fellowship, followed by Paul Harris recognitions and a wonderful meal of smoked beef loins and sides prepared by the award-winning Holly Smokers cooking team from St. Andrews. If you plan to attend, please sign up at the meeting or call Don Roberts @ 601-540-8911 by June 15th by 5p.m. We will NOT have a lunch meeting on June 20th!

Last Week's Meeting:
Jenny Mann, Executive Director of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO), spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its June 6, 2023, meeting. Mann became executive director in January 2022 after the retirement of Michael Beattie. Mann is coming from seven years as the executive director of the Tuscaloosa Symphony where she also was the principal bassoonist since 2006.
