Club Elections Held
Elections were recently held for the 2024-25 Rotary year for club officers and directors. The results of the election are Officers: President Lori Greer, Vice-President Neelam Goel, Secretary Suzy Tubb and Treasurer Bill Osborne. The Club Directors are Greg Campbell, Bruce Deer, Caroline Kemp, Stanley Simpson, and James Clay. Congratulations to all!
Prayer
Almighty God, whose springtime creative activity is being revealed in the natural world, and whose love and mercy are continuously revealed in the experiences of our lives, we thank you for life and all through both we are strengthened. Bless now our fellowship and the food provided for us. Confirm with your blessings our efforts to serve others, to openly espouse the high ethical standards to which we subscribe as Rotarians. Paul Watson, Jr.'s Death
Club member Paul Watson Jr. passed away on April 1st following a brief hospitalization. Paul joined our club in November of 2021 after being a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville since August of 1969.
April 2, 2024, Meeting
Tommy Lister, a resident of Madison, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its April 2, 2024, meeting about his hiking the Appalachian Trail. Lister hiked the 2,198-mile AT from Georgia to Main last year from February-July. Shown from left in the below photo, Club Executive Secretary-Treasurer Don Roberts and Lister.
