Prayer
Gracious God, as we unite in prayer, we give thanks for the spiritual dimension of human existence in which we find help and hope amid the secular realities which make insistent claims upon our time and effort. Having retreated from those pressures for this time of renewed fellowship with friends, we pray that you will grace our gathering with your presence. Accept now out thanks for all earthly provisions for our needs, and for spiritual resources to pursue opportunities to serve others. Amen.

Nancy Loome, Executive Director of the Parents Campaign, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its January 28, 2025, meeting. Loome informed club members and guest about the Parents Campaign and about school choice. The Parents’ Campaign was founded by public school parents in 2006 to ensure that public school parents, educators, and supporters have a voice in the legislative and policy decisions that affect our children’s education and a means by which they can hold legislators and policy-makers accountable.
