Club Announcements:
Club Elections Held
Club elections were held during the March 26th meeting for the 2024-25 club officers and directors. The results of the election are Officers: President Lori Greer, Vice-President Neelam Goel, Secretary Suzy Tubb and Treasurer Bill Osborne. The Club Directors are Greg Campbell, Bruce Deer, Caroline Kemp, and Stanley Simpson. Due to a tie, there will be a runoff election during the April 2nd meeting between James Clay and Pat Viver for Director.
Prayer
Almighty God, as we pause in prayer at the outset of this meeting, help us to realize the significance of this meeting, help us to realize the significance of these brief moments as a preface to our time together. Such as the demands upon us in life and work, and such are the blessings in both, that we need and appreciate this planned opportunity to reverently give thanks, and to reiterate our need for fresh inspiration and renewed strength. Accept our gratitude for food and all other gifts lavished upon us. Amen.

Rotary District 6820 Conference
Come join in the FUN and CELEBRTION at our Rotary District 6820 Conference April 12-13 in Meridian. There will be a business meeting, breakout learning sessions and celebrations during the two-day event. Here are two links about the conference and register information.
Brooks Eason, a local author and attorney, spoke to our club during the March 26, 2024, meeting. Eason talked about his latest book, "The Scoutmaster", the story of the wonderful life of his father Paul Eason, who served as a Boy Scout leader for more than sixty years and was an extraordinary influence on three generations of young men in Tupelo.
