Club Announcements:
October 24, 2023, Meeting
We will not have our regular meeting on Tuesday Oct. 24th. We will join other Rotarians for the World Polio Day Celebration. The event will be held at the Miss. Ag & Forestry Museum's Sparkman Auditorium starting at 11:30 (please arrive before then to get your meal). There will be local and national speakers to help us celebrate World Polio Day. The celebration will end by 1:00p.m.
End Polio Now Events in October
Mark your calendar now for End Polio Now events. The "Pocket Change for Polio" jug is available now through Oct. 31st for accepting donations at our meetings. Also, all money donated to the End Polio Now RI Foundation Fund, will be matched by our club. Donations of $100 or more, entitle you to be a member of the End Polio Now Society. On Saturday, Oct. 28th, the End Polio Now 5K Run & Walk in Ridgeland will be held. Registration is open @ https://msracetiming.com/home-%7C-races

October 17, 2023, Meeting
Will Thomas, a member of the team that captured the Mississippi record length alligator, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its October 17, 2023, meeting. The alligator was 14 feet and 3 inches long and weighed 802.5 pounds. Shown from left, Club Executive Secretary-Treasurer Don Roberts, Thomas and Club President Matt Monsour.
