NO CLUB MEETING TOMORROW
There will be NO CLUB MEETING TOMORROW July 29th due to our club's 5th Day of Service Project.
5th Tuesday Day of Service
Our club will have its 5th Tuesday Day of Service tomorrow, July 29th at The Mississippi Food Network from noon until 1p.m. Please wear comfortable clothes since you will be in their warehouse without air conditioning. You will be packing food boxes. Lunch will not be provided, and we will not have our regular meeting that day. MFN is located at 440W. Beatty Street, Jackson MS 39201. You can also choose to do service at the organization of your choice tomorrow. Just let Don know where you went.

We Will Go Fundraiser
The Rotary Club of North Jackson held a fundraiser for We Will Go Ministries on Friday, July 11th at the home of Neelam and Parvesh Goel. The night featured a performance by the Miss. String Quartet, food and fellowship all for a worthy cause. We Will Go Ministries is a local nonprofit located in downtown Jackson, that focuses efforts on education, essential food, and engagement. They also offer an after-school program and summer camps. All programs are centered around evangelism and sharing the love of Christ. The fundraiser was raising funds to re-coat their swimming pool due to the wear and usage. $4,052 was raised during the fundraiser. July 22, 2025, Meeting
Club Past President Wyatt Emmerich spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its July 22, 2025, meeting. Wyatt, publisher and owner of Emmerich Newspapers Inc. including the Northside Sun, talked about the small town, weekly & daily newspaper business in the country and the copyright issues. Emmerich Newspapers Inc. are suing Google Inc. and Facebook Inc. over copyright issues. Wyatt wants them to pay a royalty fee if they use copyrighted material from their publications.
