JPD Precinct 4 Officer Recognition
The Rotary Club of North Jackson recognized the JPD Precinct 4 Officer of the Quarter during its Dec. 3, 2024, meeting. JPD Officer Tyhanna Turner, was recognized for arresting a person that had numerous warrants out for him. December 3, 2024, Meeting
Ken Kercheval, Scout Executive/CEO for the Andrew Jackson Council of the Boy Scouts of America spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its December 3, 2024, meeting. Kercheval informed club members about the council which is composed of 22 counties. He also talked about Camp Hood, located near Hazlehurst and it being a state-of-the-art camp that host scouts form the Andrew Jackson as well as others from other scout councils from Miss. and other states.
