Club Announcements:
November 14, 2023, Meeting
Heather Bradley, Executive Director of Mississippians Against Human Trafficking, will be our guest speaker during the November 14th meeting. Human trafficking is said to be the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, and Mississippi is no exception. In fact, with the intersection of I-55 and I-20 in central Mississippi, our state has become a hub for human trafficking. But trafficking is not found only along the interstate and in big cities; the state’s many rural areas provide ample places to hide victims.
Prayer
Eternal God, Source of comfort and hope for us in daily life and Giver of guidance to those who seek it, the mystery of your Being overwhelms us, the intimacy of your love overshadows us, the magnitude us with awe. Grace our gathering here today with your presence. Guide and strengthens to pursue with confidence the purpose for which we exist as a club. We cherish your endorsement of our mission to serve others above ourselves. We thank you for food and all material blessings we enjoy. Bind us closer in fellowship with you and with each other. Amen.

November 7, 2023, Meeting
Yolanda Griffin, PHD, RBP @ the University of Mississippi Medical Center, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during their November 7, 2023, meeting. Griffin spoke about clinical trials going on at UMMC. Some of the trial areas Griffin and others from UMMC talked about were, Pharmacology, Neurology, The MIND Center, Aging and Trama & Pcc.
