Yolanda Griffin, PHD, RBP @ the University of Mississippi Medical Center, will talk about clinical trials going on at UMMC during our meeting on 11-7-23.
Proposed New Member Announcement
Danna O’Brien has been proposed for membership in the Rotary Club of North Jackson by Andy White and is sponsored for membership by Past President Don Roberts. Danna lived in the Jackson metro area for his entire life except for the period he attended the University of Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctorate. He has practiced law here for the past 25 years. He is a Partner in the James & O’Brien Family Law Group whose offices are in Ridgeland. He lives in Jackson with his wife, Juliet, and their two children.
He will be loaned the classification, Attorney – Family Law after his membership is approved by the Board.
This is the 2nd publication of this proposed new member.
Prayer
Gracious God, again we gather with anticipation of having a satisfying experience of fellowship but also the thrill of engaging productively in the work we are privileged to do as Rotarians. We are grateful for the unity we feel in responding together to the call to look beyond ourselves in service to others. We confess to taking for granted the blessings of food and the gifts of fun and fellowship. Accept our thanks for these blessings. Amen.

October 24, 2023, Meeting
Dallis Ketchum, a local realtor and self-proclaimed bike nerd, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its October 31, 2023, meeting about the Belhaven Mountain Bike Trail. The trail is about 3.5 miles long through Belhaven alone I-55 and the Museum Trail. Here is the link to the meeting video.
