Club Assembly
The Rotary Club of North Jackson's annual Club Assembly will be held June 10th. at St. Andrews Cathedral in Jackon starting at 5:30p.m. with a fellowship time. The evening will conclude with a meal featuring beef tenderloin and sides cooked by the award-winning Holy Smokers cooking team from St. Andrews. There is a sign-up sheet on our check-in table. We will not have our regular club meeting on the 10th.
Prayer
Dear God, we come to this gathering fresh from the world outside, feeling the exhilaration of work well done, contracts signed, items produced, persons helped, contributions made, lessons learned, and perhaps even praise received. Give us we pray, the inner spiritual resources needed to deal with life's mixture of gains and losses, victories and defeats, successes and failures. Now, bless to our use and your service the food and the fellowship we enjoy and the high purposes we share. Amen.

May 27, 2025, Meeting
Miranda Vaughn with Big House Books, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its May 27, 2025, meeting. Big House Books is a non-profit, volunteer organization that sends free books by request to prisoners in Mississippi correctional facilities in order to promote literacy and be a vehicle of change for prison reform. They are located at 133 Millsaps Ave. in Jackson and are open Sundays from noon until 2p.m. for volunteering or donating paperback books only.
