• New Member Proposal Announcement.
  Paul Kevin Hughes (whose Rotary name will
  be Kevin) has been proposed for membership
  in the Rotary Club of North Jackson by Jeff Bon-
  ner and is being sponsored by past president 
  Dick Dickerson.  Kevin is the owner of Greater
  Jackson Mortuary, located on Vine Street in
  central Jackson.  His company provides mort-
  uary and crematory services in addition to
  transport services to funeral homes.  He grew
  up in Grenada and attended mortuary college
  at Northwest MS Community College.  Kevin
  was previously a member of the Rotary Club
  of Water Valley.  He and his wife Jennifer live
  with their pre-teen son, John Marc, in Pearl.  
  His classification will be Mortuary. This is the
  second publication of Kevin's membership pro-
  posal.
   
  Joshua William Walker (whose Rotary name will
  be Josh) has been proposed for membership in
  the Rotary Club of North Jackson by Suman Das
  and is being sponsored by past president Sean
  Culhane.  Josh is a senior application specialist
  for Applied Software, an AutoDesk software re-
  seller headquartered in Atlanta.  He received his
  BS from the University of Southern Mississippi
  and has lived in the Jackson area for one year.  
  Josh and his wife Erin reside in north Jackson.  
  His classification will be Software Reseller. 
  This is the second publication of Josh's
  membership proposal.
• Nissan Tour, May 31. Please remember to
  sign up for the Nissan Tour on May 31.
  Details are on the signup sheet. We will
  not have a noon meeting that day as the
  Country Club of Jackson will be closed in
  honor of memorial Day.

• Billy Brumfield House. The Rotary Club of
  North Jackson is serving supper once a month at
  The Billy Brumfield House, a Stewpot Community
  Services ministry. Our club serves on the 1^st  
  Tuesday of each month.  Interested members
  need to meet at the Billy Brumfield House
  @ 5:30PM. Also, if you are interested in sponsor-
  ing a month, the estimated cost is $180 for the food.

• Between the Lions. Please remember to
  sign up for Between the Lions for this com-
  ing fall. We read weekly to pre-Kindergart-
  eners at William Walton Elementary School
  on Bailey Ave. It is a wonderful experience!
